言

锂电池安全作为电动汽车行业与消费类电子产品健康快速发展的重要保障，一直是全球理论研究的热与技术研发的难。

为此，由许骏博士组建的汽车能源与安全实验室（Vehicle Energy & Safety Laboratory）与塞弗赛安斯科技（浙江）有限公司联合各大知名高校与企业，拟召开AUTOMOTIVE & BATTERY SAFETY CONFERENCE 2020 （ABSC 2020）会议拟邀请各位同仁共同探讨如何应对锂电池安全领域的重大挑战。

本次大会将针对“电动汽车与锂离子电池安全”主题，以网络会议形式，汇聚相关领域的全球知名专家学者共同分享和讨论锂电池安全科学和工程领域与电动汽车耐撞性领域的最新研究成果，旨在促进和提高与会者的专业水平与技术能力。会务组诚邀各位同仁参加本次会议，共同努力应对锂电池安全领域的重大挑战。

ABSC 2020与ASME会刊Journal of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage （JEECS）期刊合作，专设“Lithium-ion Battery Safety”专刊，优先刊登本次参会代表的论。专刊主编为本次大会主席许骏教授和嘉宾华盛顿州立大学Soumik Banerjee教授。投稿系统将于6月15日-9月1日（美国东部时间）开放。欢迎大家踊跃投稿。

ABSC 2020 collaborates with ASME Journal ofElectrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage (JEECS) toanize a high quality special issue on Lithium-ion Battery Safety. Conference participants will begiven priority to publish their research papers on JEECS.

The chief editors of this special issue are Prof. Jun Xu (Chairman of the conference) and guest speaker Prof. Soumik Banerjee from Washington State University. The submission system will be open from June 15 to September 1 (Eastern Time).

08 Altair Battery Safety Young Researcher Award

With the support from Altair, ABSC 2020 will establish the &34;Altair Battery Safety Young Researcher Award&34; for young researchers. The requirements of applicant are:

With a Ph.D. degree and within two years of graduating from Ph.D., Ph.D. candidate or master student;

Submission of the &34;Lithium-ion battery safety&34; special issue of the Journal of Electrochemical Energy Conversion and Storage (JEECS) (The system is open for submission from June 15th to September 1st, 2020);

The research field is related to the safety of lithium batteries;

Please submit the abstract of your prepared paper for JEECS special issue, personal CV and personal research statement (in one A4 page) together combined in one PDF file to yaobo.wu.com before 5/20/2020.
